About
An exhibition dedicated to one of Sauve's most illustrious figures: the aeronaut Théodore Sivel, an emblematic figure of French aerostatics in the 19th century.
Recounting his life as an intrepid explorer and the many exploits aboard the Zenith aerostat that marked the 19th century. The panoramic frescoes painted in 2022 by watercolorists from the Sauve Inspire association will also be highlighted, evoking Sauve overflown by hot-air balloons. A poetic nod to the epic of the first human flights, visible at the Tourist Office during the European Heritage Days and until November 28, 2025.
