Leaning against the slopes of the Coutach massif, at the foot of which flows the Vidourle river, Sauve is a remarkable medieval village with the "Village de Caractère" label.

A stroll through the narrow streets of the village reveals the remains of the ramparts, fortified gates, 2 medieval towers, vaults and alleyways. The walk also takes in the townhouses, gates, old market square, Clock Tower and Fontaine des Sources.
