The Old Bridge at Sauve

The Old Bridge at Sauve

About

For a long time, fords were the only way to cross the Vidourle. This bridge was built between the 11th and 13th centuries to enable travelers, muleteers and carters to reach the town and the Saint-Pierre de Sauve abbey.

In front of you lies the medieval town, set against the Mer des Rochers.
